Gas Volume Measurement Systems (GVMS):

 

GasH meter:

Our GasH meter consists of a tube that is attached to the middle of the upper side of the inner membrane. This tube (filled with liquid) measures the distance between the middle of the inner
membrane and the cabinet that hangs on the wall. This distance is measured by the pressure of the liquid inside the tube. This pressure is being transformed into a 4-20 mA signal. This signal can be send to a computer system to operate the Biogas Engine or the flare.
 

Ultrasoon

Our Ultrasoon level measurement is a system that measures the distance between the outer and inner membrane by means of sending out signals towards the inner side of the the outer membrane and the upper side of the inner membrane. This system provides the possibility to set a maximum and minimum distance between the inner and outer membrane. The cabinet that belongs to this ultrasoon will transform the ultrasoon signal into a 4-20 mA signal. This signal can be send to a computer system to operate the Biogas Engine or the flare.
 

Weight + Tape (+ Sensor)

This measurement system of MSE measures the height of the inner membrane. The product consists of a belt, which goes from one side of the tank to the other and lies exactly in the middle, on the upper side of the inner membrane. At the end of the tape, a weight will determine the height of the membrane. The height of the weight indicates the height of the inner membrane.

The (optional) sensor transforms the height of the weight into a 4-20 mA signal. This signal can be send to a computer system to operate the Biogas Engine or the flare. In case there is no sensor, it has to be done manually.


Integration in Double Membranes

All our Gas Volume Measurement systems can be integrated in the complete double membrane roofs of Membrane Systems Europe. We can provide you with the parameters to set the devices and make sure that these parameters are already calibrated into the measurement system. In that case the system is ready to use after installation! No settings have to be done by the client for these systems.

In all cases, the connection of the 4-20 mA signal to the computer system has to be done by the client.
