Gas Leak Detection System
How our Gas Leak Detection System (GLDS) works is simple but effective. The Xgard Gas Detector is being installed onto one of the air outlets (see picture). There is a small tube going inside from the Xgard into air outlet, which measures if there are any gasses between the membranes. Which gasses exactly it measures, depends on the kind of filter that is installed on the Xgard. In our case this is CH4.
The Xgard is connected to another system, in this case the Gasmaster, where you can see if there are any gasses being measured by the Xgard. The Gasmaster can (for example) be mounted on the outside of the tank wall at 1.5 meters height, so you can easily see if there are any gasses between the membranes.
